What CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin is

This vial contains two synthetic peptides: CJC-1295 without DAC (Modified GRF 1-29), a 29-residue analogue of the N-terminal fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone with four stabilising substitutions, and ipamorelin, a pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue that acts at the ghrelin receptor. The two act at different pituitary receptors, and co-administration of GHRH analogues and ghrelin-receptor agonists has been examined in studies of other members of each class, but no published study examines this particular pair. A blend is reported by the identity and amount of each component per vial rather than by a single purity figure. It is supplied here as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for laboratory research.

What the research examines

CJC-1295 (no DAC). Research on the tetrasubstituted GRF(1-29) sequence comes from the study that introduced it, which measured dipeptidyl-peptidase IV stability and growth hormone release in rat pituitary cells and rats; the human trials concern the albumin-conjugated CJC-1295 and measured growth hormone and IGF-1 in healthy adults.

Ipamorelin. Studies characterised ipamorelin as a ghrelin-receptor agonist, measuring growth hormone release in rat pituitary cells, rats and swine alongside ACTH, cortisol and prolactin, examined bone growth in rats, and tested it in a rodent model and a phase 2 trial of postoperative ileus.

No published study examines this combination as such; the evidence base consists of separate work on each component. Neither component is an approved medicine, and ipamorelin's phase 2 programme in postoperative ileus was not taken further. Both fall under the WADA prohibited list, as a GHRH analogue and a growth hormone secretagogue. CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin is not an approved medicine, and this page makes no claims about effects in humans.

Handling in the laboratory

Store sealed at 2–8 °C for routine use or frozen for long-term storage, protected from light and moisture. Let the vial reach room temperature before opening. See Storage and handling of lyophilized research peptides.

New to research peptides?

What is a research peptide?

A short chain of amino acids produced synthetically for laboratory investigation. Research peptides are sold as chemical reagents to study biological mechanisms; they are not medicines, foods or supplements and are not for human use.

What does "lyophilized" mean?

Freeze-dried. The peptide is supplied as a dry powder, which keeps it stable in storage. It is dissolved in the laboratory before use in an experiment.

How do I verify a batch?

Scan the QR on the vial, or open "Verify a batch" and enter the batch number. The report opens on the independent laboratory's own website, we cannot edit it.

What does the purity figure mean?

The share of the vial's peptide content that is the intended sequence, measured by HPLC. Identity is confirmed separately by mass spectrometry, so both "what" and "how pure" are tested.

How should it be stored?

Sealed vials at 2–8 °C, protected from light. Our storage guide covers handling of opened vials.
